In Saint Petersburg, Russia, winters are usually long and temperatures are mostly very cold. If temperatures gets as low as 14°F - -4°F, isn't unusual. But, the average temperature during the winter is about 19°F. Spring can also be long, but it’s still a bit cold. The beginning of April is usually above freezing, and by the middle of April all the snow is melted. Spring can also bring spotty showers. In the summer the temperatures are around 70-80°F, but really sunny days are common, as is in Kansas. In fall the usual temperature is between 50°F and 40°F. There is mild weather in the early fall, but it starts to get chilly in mid-October. Sometimes it starts to snow in late fall, but sometimes it doesn't start until the early winter.
